The problem

Equipment spread across the field is often a black box: what it produces, consumes or how it fails is only known after a visit or from manual records. Without current data, maintenance, restocking and planning rest on assumptions.

The approach

We connect existing equipment to a central system, with hardware and software suited to each case, without replacing what works. Cashless payment, by card and mobile phone, is a central function.

  • Installed onto existing equipment — without modifying the equipment or interrupting operation.
  • Custom hardware when justified — in-house electronics, off-the-shelf modules or software only, depending on the case.
  • From data to decision — collection comes first; the platform that uses it is built in phases.

Core capabilities

  • Cashless payment — card and mobile phone, with the money going to the operator’s account.
  • Field data collection — readings, counts and events sent automatically to a central system.
  • Integration with machines and existing systems — controllers, sensors and the management system already in use.
  • Remote status and command — faults, alerts and updates without travel, in phases where justified.
  • Restocking suggestions per machine — based on sales and stock levels; in phases, if the project includes the management platform.
  • Routes for field teams — machines visited only when necessary, making operations more efficient; in phases, if the project includes them.

Applies, for example, to vending and cigarette machines, self-service launderettes, coin-operated rides (swings, carousels) and massage chairs, as well as to any business with dispersed equipment, in any sector.

An example

In automated retail, we created our own electronics board for existing vending machines. It reads sales without interfering with the machine and adds cashless payment, with the money going directly to the operator’s account. The hardware has been validated on real machines.

For the technical team
  • Low-power microcontrollers with Wi-Fi, Ethernet or mobile network (LTE-M/NB-IoT) connectivity and Bluetooth provisioning
  • Industrial and equipment protocols (Modbus, CAN, RS-485, serial interfaces and proprietary buses), with electrical isolation where needed
  • Telemetry over MQTT or HTTPS, with a unique identifier and sequence per event, for reliable reconciliation
  • Over-the-air (OTA) firmware updates and per-device configuration management
  • Integration with external systems via REST API, webhooks or dedicated protocol
